Who we are
Established in 1980, SDA Multicultural Church for the Community has been a cornerstone of our community for over 40 years. We have a rich history of serving others and sharing the message of Christ with all who will listen.
At SDA Multicultural Church for the Community, we are dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ to our community and beyond. Through our various ministries and programs, we strive to make a positive impact on the world around us.
Our Church seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming again soon.
Our mission
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant church with approximately 19 million members worldwide, including more than one million members in North America. The Adventist Church operates 173 hospitals and sanitariums and more than 7,500 schools around the world. The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) works within communities in more than 130 countries to provide community development and disaster relief.
Our beliefs
Over the years, our church has agreed upon key statements that summarize the principal teachings Seventh-day Adventists understand from the Bible. These statements are made collectively by a group of scholars studying and prayerfully searching the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Taking a day just to rest and focus on the things most important to you might seem difficult to fit into your life. But the Sabbath can be a welcome respite that renews you for each new week (making you more productive) while also allowing you to grow closer to God.
Spirituality
God loves without restraint… Many have tried to determine what constitutes the essential human endeavor. For some it is to be known and for others it is to be loved. For many it is to make a lasting mark on the world so that the impact of ones life continues to have significance.
When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.
